things i’ve learned from watching my naturally skinny best friend
My best friend is naturally skinny and the skinniest person I know so lately I’ve been noticing some of her habbits that I’m going to try to make part of my own life.
1. She does eat. Three meals a day. Small meals and never snacks, but actually eating make her diet maintainable so she doesn’t binge.
2. Food is never the first thing she thinks about. For example, breakfast isn’t the first thing as soon as she wakes up. She waits till she’s actually hungry.
3. She eats her food very VERY slowly. She drinks water between bites and Isn’t entirely focused on stuffing her face. She keeps her attention away from the food.
4. She only eats of her meals what she really really likes. If it’s not good, she doesn’t eat it. If a certain part of it isn’t as enjoyable, she only eats the part she likes and throws away the rest.
5. She moves a lot. She gets up and walks around while she’s eating or really all of the time. She plays music to dance to when she’s alone. She’s always tapping her foot or swaying or pacing or dancing.
6. Eating isn’t her hobby. Eating isn’t her addiction. Eating doesn’t make her feel euphoric. She has other things give her that enjoyment.
